I am posting up this image of me performing an In-Saddle-Float on single point crutches to make the point that my dancing came from within my heart and spiritual connection to music and the "urbanity" of my form prior to attaining and evolving the rocker bottom crutch design. So many kind people have written to me about how they want to dance on crutches but need to find a rockerbottom set to get started. My response is just start moving. When it comes to using standard issue crutches it doesnt hurt to reinforce the laminated wood with a second handle placed lower than the one you use.  The best for single point is to fabricate or acquire antique wooden single points as they are made from a single piece of solid hardwood rather than the more current issue laminate with glue. Getting the right height is more dificult with the antique style as they are not adjustable. If you find a pair that are too long just cut them back at the tip, if they are too short.. keep looking.
